A handcrafted Mexican liqueur inspired by a 1920s recipe from Puebla.

Bold, smoky, and irresistibly complex, Ancho Reyes Original is a uniquely Mexican liqueur made from sun-dried, hand-selected ancho chiles (dried ripe poblano peppers). With its warm, spicy-sweet character and deep red-amber colour, it brings the true flavour of Puebla’s traditional chiles straight into your glass.

? Crafted from Real Ancho Chiles

The ancho chiles used in Ancho Reyes Original are hand-picked at peak ripeness, then sun-dried and hand-turned to intensify their natural sweetness, heat, and rich flavour.

Once dried, the chiles are macerated for 6 months, allowing the spirit to slowly absorb every nuance — from earthy warmth to subtle fruitiness.

Each bottle is then hand-labelled and bottled one by one, preserving the artisanal spirit behind this iconic liqueur.
