13%Abv "From a 1ha parcel of vines at the top of the slope above Marconnets and Clos du Roi, on the border with Savigny. Prior to being bottled (unfiltered), this is produced without sulphur, giving the wine a lovely, expressive red berry fruit, with floral notes and a texture that is firm, fresh, and carries bright fruit through to the lingering finish. A superb terroir for a hot year such as 2019."

“Wafting from the glass with scents of orange rind, peonies, plums and raspberries, complemented by sapid bass notes of loamy soil, the 2019 Beaune Clos du Dessus des Marconnets is medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, with melting tannins and a saline finish.”

"The 2019 Beaune Clos du Dessus des Marconnets, whose vines lie next to the autoroute, offers lifted red cherry and crushed strawberry scents and a subtle underlying earthiness. The palate is medium-bodied with a lightly spiced opening, a fine bead of acidity and a slightly granular texture finish of impressive depth. Classic in style, this is a charming Beaune."
