Four Roses Single Barrel is aged for at least seven years in a newly charred American white oak barrel. A barrel is selected only when it has developed the spicy character, floral nose and slightly dry delicate finish that is Bourbon at its natural best. 

There are approximately 248 bottles per barrel; it is hand-filled and numbered. The series of numbers on the back label tell you when the whiskey was put in the barrel and the date it was bottled. This assures you of the single source at the Four Roses Distillery and gives you the opportunity to compare Bourbon from different barrels and years. By its very nature, no two barrels taste the same.
