This 12 year old represents the classic style of GlenAllachie - a gentle nose of perfumed, aromatic honey, and butterscotch are joined by raisins and mocha coming through in the background. To taste, the palate is soft and initially sweet, again honeyed, with marzipan and bananas joined by a mirroring of flavours from its nose. The finish is drying, with orange peel and delicate oak lingering.

Founded over 50 years ago in the heart of Scotland's single malt whisky region, GlenAllachie [glen-al-a-key] remained one of Speyside's workhouse distilleries until its sale in 2017 to the famed whisky icon, Billy Walker.
