Kanonkop Estate

Kanonkop Estate is situated on the lower slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. The estate is now in its fourth generation of the Sauer family and has recently been taken over by the capable and talented hands of Paul & Johann Krige, descendants of Paul Sauer. Over the last 40 years, Kanonkop Estate has earned a reputation for the best wines in the country - largely due to the great success of their Bordeaux Blend 'Paul Sauer' and their proficiency with South Africa's own grape, Pinotage.  The winery and their winemaker have won IWSC Trophies on numerous occasions.
