"Complex nose, with ripe red fruits (plum and cherry), berrries (blackberry, blueberry, raspberry), some floral notes and a few spice aromas. Round wine with balanced acidity, soft and ripe tannins that envelop the palate, emerge again its aromas and sweetness. Long and harmonious finish."

--------THE PRODUCER--------

Millaman Winery

José Canepa, an Italian immigrant, who purchased the Hacienda El Condor estate in 1946 starting the dream of producing the best wines of Curicó Valley. In 1998 the desire to expand and perpetuate the wine tradition through his three daughters led to the creation of a new winery based on the Hacienda, giving rise to Millaman Wines.

--------THE GRAPE--------

Malbec

Whilst today Malbec is probably best known as being the red grape varietal that is behind the juicy, full-bodied red wines of Mendoza in Argentina. It is historically from the South-West of France in the region of Cahors. In both of these regions it produces single varietal wines which are loaded with black fruit flavours. We can't forget that it also plays a small but significant role in the blend in Bordeaux where it is known for adding a deep colour and plummy aromatics.

--------THE REGION--------

Chile

Chile is best known for its savoury and spicy reds made from Carmenere, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon yet it is moving in an exciting direction of late with its crisp Semillons, Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs.
