Established in 1830, the distillery is located on the shores of Loch Harport. For over 175 years their distillation process has remained virtually unchanged. Even a fire in 1960 didn’t stop the team from making Talisker in the traditional manner - they always double-distil the spirit to create a rich, deep character embodying the maritime characteristics of a whisky made by the sea.
