Anna Maria Abbona’s Barolo Castiglione Falletto DOCG 2018 is a captivating expression of Nebbiolo from one of the most prestigious villages in Barolo.

Sourced from vineyards in Castiglione Falletto at altitudes of 250-300 meters, the wine benefits from calcareous marl soils and a southwest exposure, perfect for Nebbiolo. Aged in traditional oak barrels, it reveals layers of ripe cherry, rose petals, and a hint of spice, balanced by fine tannins and a long, graceful finish.

The Abbona family, renowned for their high-altitude vineyards and deep-rooted history in Dogliani, brought their expertise to the Barolo region in 2009, acquiring an estate in Monforte d’Alba. With a commitment to traditional methods and meticulous care, Anna Maria and her husband Franco have created a Barolo that showcases the purity and elegance of its terroir.
