Antigua Bodega Stagnari - 'Osiris' Tannat 2015
"Only a wine crafted from selected grapes from a privileged terroir and only our best vintages would honour the Egyptian god who educated man in agriculture and taught his people the art of grape-growing.
Aged in American oak barrels for 12 months, reaching a perfect balance between fruit and wood.
On the nose: complex aromas of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and violets that harmonise with spicy and toasted notes as a result of the oak ageing.
Full-bodied, well balanced, mouth filling with ripe tannins and a complex, persistent and seductive finish.
The wine is bottled without cold stabilisation in order to retain its complexity. Sometimes, small natural substances may appear, but they do not affect the sensory quality of the wine.
Ideal to pair with red meats, roasted meat such as deer or boar, strong cheese and chocolate.
We recommend decanting for an hour."
