About the Producer

Ataahua a small-batch winery, led by yours truly, Stephanie Henderson-Grant. Enthusiastically assisted by my family, I’ve been growing grapes and making wine in the Waipara Valley for thirty years. Ataahua has never been a big operation and we like it that way, but our passion for what we do is enormous.

Alongside our love of winemaking we love the land. and believe deeply in the principles of Kaitiakitanga – guardianship, protection and preservation. We want to make sure the Waipara Valley is in great shape for future generations to enjoy.
