The Gimonnet family have long ben one of the top suppliers of grapes to the other more famous houses in Champagne but with a new planting of vines in the 1910s they decided, after they took root, to actually go out on a limb and start producing under their own label. They have some of the oldest vines in Champagne and access to some of the best parcels in many Grand Cru sites in the region. From Cramant to Oger to Cuis, Gimonnet is exclusively Blanc de Blancs producer (solely Chardonnay) with the tiny exception of their rose which uses just a splash of grand cru Ambonnay Pinot Noir for colour. Famous the world over by the top wine experts as being the best grower producer in Champagne.
