Channing Daughters

Channing Daughters is the winery is like walking into the alcoholic equivalent of Willy Wonka’s factory. The man in charge is Christopher Tracey who is working with grapes that are unknown to most, trying out styles that are very new-wave, and mastering all of them. He is a master of practically every grape varietal that he touches (and there are quite a few). He makes a total of 40 wines and 6 Vermouths all of which are in small batches to ensure only the highest quality possible. He is known for his clever use of blending, he makes wines from separate wines being blended together but also ‘field blends’ where he plants an amalgam of grapes together then vinifies them all together. They are also a leading winery in New York's sustainability project.
