Dark and very deep colour; the wine suggests aromas of mature and red fruits such raspberry, cherry and blackberry. The deep soil begets a vigorous, full-bodied Pinot Noir, robust yet refined. The mouth is revealing a firm and well-built body, richly chewy and with pleasing tannins.
Grape 100% Pinot Noir
Food match Grilled beef or lamb, roasted poultry, soft cheeses or washed rind cheeses
The Producer
Located in the heart of the village of Chorey-lès-Beaune in the Côte d'Or, Domaine Arnoux Père et Fils has been perpetuating the art of wine growing and winemaking from generation to generation. Continuing this long family tradition, grandfather, René, then two of his five children, Michel and Rémi, extended the domaine and developed the bottling activity. In 1990, they were joined by René's grandson, Pascal. Since 2008, Pascal Arnoux and his wife, Caroline, have been at the helm of the domaine. Pascal combines traditional know-how with new technology in order to protect the vineyards and create fine quality wines. Today the domaine covers around 20 hectares spread over the communes of Chorey-lès-Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Echevronne. The vineyards are worked sustainably to respect the terroirs and we only intervene, using the least harmful products, when the risk exceeds a certain threshold of potential damage.
