A sibling to the classic Double Cask from Glen Scotia, this new expression sees the distillery's unpeated spirit matured initially in American oak barrels, before spending a final 6 months in ex-Demerara rum casks. The initial aroma is like boiling sugar for sweeties, with a soft molasses and tropical fruit character. A maritime note of sea-spray adds a lifting salinity that shifts to wood spices in the finish.
