Fragrant banana and vanilla on the nose follows through to the palate along with zesty lemon, fresh melon and a cinnamon spice. Long amd sweet on the finish with more of that light spice developing. A well smooth, sweet and well balanced dram which whisky maker, Gordon Motion describes as The Glenrothes 'House Style'.

Glenrothes Distillery

The Glenrothes [glen-rothis] distillery is situated in the quaint village of Rothes in the heart of Speyside. The Glenrothes style is soft and smooth with notes of caramel / toffee, spice, vanilla and delicate citrus apparent throughout their expressions. The new 'Soleo' range is matured entirely in Sherry seasoned oak casks. The collection takes its name from the traditional soleo sun-drying process which dries the grapes to aid the creation of the finest sherry.
