This is a 90 proof (45% alcohol) sour mash whiskey. The sour mash characteristic is a slightly sour, tangy flavour that really brings out the overall sweetness of a bourbon - produced by the Willett distillery in Bardstown Kentucky.

Willett Distillery bottles bourbon sourced from other Kentucky distillers. In 2012, Willett resumed distilling whiskey as well. Initially, Willett distillate (bourbon and rye) made its way into Willett Family Estate bottles as two, three, and four year old whiskeys. Now that Willett distillate has reached four years old, Willett released a Kentucky-only bottling of its bourbon as Old Bardstown Estate Bottled in Bond Bourbon.
