Fresh peat smoke mingles with a soft cooked stone fruit sweetness, with layers of smoke. On the palate there is a surge of tangy peat smoke and a vanilla pudding sweetness that leads to a sea-side, peppery smoke. The barley, oak and peat come together in harmony on the finish which is long and peaty. The profile of Kilchoman continues to evolve as it ages, and we think this is one of their best releases yet.

The Kilchoman [kil-homan] distillery is located on the western edge of Scotland's most famous whisky producing Island, Islay. Kilchoman is the island's newest distillery, founded in 2005 by Anthony and Kathy Wills. Kilchoman's style is true to its Islay roots, with peat & smoke at the fore, cleverly balanced by sweetness and salty sea-air notes.
