"This is a big whiskey - strong oak, vanilla and spice flavours all rush out of the glass all while being remarkably drinkable. This is Maker's Mark through and through, concentrated and more powerful."

Maker's Mark
Bill Samuels, Jr. comes from a long line of bourbon makers. Bill's whisky legacy started way back in 1780, when his great-great-great-great-grandfather, Robert Samuels, settled in Kentucky. A farmer by trade, he made just enough whisky to keep himself and his neighbours happy. Very happy.
About 1840, the Samuels family actually started to make a living from distilling. T. W. Samuels, Robert's grandson, built the family's first commercial distillery and created its first brand of bourbon. The recipe was passed down six generations and remained unchanged until it got to Bill's father, who abandoned the family recipe and set out to create his own.
