The Red Vermouth is our Australian version of a sweet red Italian vermouth, a vermouth designed to be mixed but very much still with the Saison DNA.
Made using Victorian grown moscato and shiraz for the base wines. Infusions of vanilla, over- roasted hazelnut, smoked blood orange, fig leaf and saffron are all infused into high quality grape spirit. We bitter using two kinds of Australian grown wormwood, balance with a little caramelised organic sugar and then age in old pinot oak for 6 months.
This vermouth is vegan. ABV 16.5%

Saison is made in Melbourne by chef/vermouth guy Dave Verheul. We take flavours of fruit, flowers and uncommon herbs to create a bright, lively take on vermouth and amaro that change with the seasons. We're conceived from the idea that vermouth can be brighter and fresher, built on singular, seasonal, ingredient-led flavour profiles.
