A very open, expressive style of Saint-Emilion. Bright ruby in colour with warm red fruits to the fore – ripe cherry, damson and wild strawberry, along with a subtle, spicy woodsmoke note. Very fresh, warm and easy-going with an almost sweet, fruit coulis edge to the intense red fruit character. Luscious, and almost crunchy in texture with soft, very well-balanced tannins. A very friendly, and highly drinkable style. (Feels like quite a splash of cabernet franc here)
