Complex and enticing bouquet of peaches and roasted nuts, vanilla, burnt butter and baked apple, nectarine and a leesy spice alongside toasty barrel. Full-bodied, weighty, creamy and dry as the wine touches the palate. There’s richness and power, a lovely bold creamy texture and flavours of nut and spice, baked fruits and freshness. Some super fine wood tannins and acidity layer in a salivating mouthfeel, fruit flavours are persistent as is the oak statement and overall youth and energy. Well made, drinkable today and will also cellar well. Best drinking from 2025 through 2030+.
