"A golden dessert wine with very typical Muscat characters on the nose. The wine shows upfront aromas of pineapple, citrus, apricots, a touch of honey and subtle floral notes. The palate is lush with the perfect balance between sweetness and fresh acidity. The Vin de Hel is an elegant, concentrated and delicious wine to enjoy with dessert or some fine handcrafted cheeses."

--------THE PRODUCER--------

Thelema Mountain Vineyards

Thelma Mountain Vineyards are in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. It is a winery that all started after Gyles Webb had his first taste of a famous white Burgundy from France. He shortly after quit his accounting career to take up winemaking. The name of the winery is named after his wife: Thelema. Gyles is a meticulous winemaker that gives great attention to every part of the winemaking process - from the vineyard to glass.

--------THE GRAPE--------

Muscat

Muscat or Moscato, whichever you prefer, is the highly aromatic white grape varietal behind some of the most iconic wines of Europe. It can be either dry or lusciously sweet in Alsace, France where it is one of the 'noble grapes' or it can be a fortified sweet wine in the region of Beaumes de Venise. Or in Italy as the fizzy and sweet Moscato d'Asti.

--------THE REGION--------

Stellenbosch

Stellenbosch is the leading quality region in South Africa. It is home to many of the most famous estates and many of the top wines. Generally speaking it is a red wine hub with Pinotage, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon at the helm, though recently more white wines are taking over.
