The Linkwood distillery is located in the Speyside whiskey region in the Scottish Highlands. It has 3 wash and 3 spirit stills. This bottling is provided by the independent bottler Blackadder around the whiskey expert Robin Tucek. This bottling is a so-called raw cask bottling. This means that the single malt whiskey was bottled after maturation with almost no filtering. It is therefore entirely possible that there are individual barrel sediments in the bottle. In addition, this single malt whiskey matured in hogsheads and was bottled as a single cask. There are therefore only 301 bottles of this bottling. It was distilled on December 8th, 2008 and bottled in January 2021. Color: straw gold Flavor notes: fine, sweet sherry aromas alternate with mild honey and citrus fruit aromas. Not chill-filtered! Without dye

--------THE PRODUCER--------

Blackadder

We are a family-run, independent bottling company, established in 1995 by Robin Tucek who now runs the business with his son, Michael, and daughter, Hannah. Initially a whisky bottler, we have since developed our range to include other spirits, including rum and gin.

All Blackadder whiskies are bottled as single cask and most at cask strength. And we absolutely never, ever, chill-filter or colour our whiskies. Our signature brand is Raw Cask – complete cask whiskies bottled containing cask sediment.

Blackadder whiskies are sold through carefully-targeted specialist importers and shops worldwide. They can also be enjoyed in many leading bars, including specialist whisky bars, and restaurants wishing to offer top-end single malts to their customers.

Bunnahabhain

Bunnahabhain’s distillery date back to 1881 and is an important part of the island’s history. From 1881 to today, their whisky has always been made with quality malted barley, clean, pure Margadale spring water and a bit of yeast. Bunnahabhain’s location is an influencing factor of their whisky’s taste. Bunnahabhain’s location benefits from having the breath of the bold sea on one side and the pure spring water of the Margadale River on the other side. Their whiskies have a unique approachable and welcoming taste which is mellow due to their minimal peating.
