" Bressan's Verduzzo Friulano born from a singular reasoning: Verduzzo has an important tannic structure, rather than hide it, the winery Bressan decided to exalt it. The result is truly amazing: the initial pleasant dryness of the taste is followed by a sweet and fruity final that fills and satisfies. The family Bressan has a centuries-old agricultural history; the last characters are the father Nereo and his son Fulvio. Nereo has for decades led a double life: in the morning ran a renowned butcher in Gorizia, while the afternoon was spent doing the grower, spending all his time in the vineyards left by his grandfather.

Today the winery is run by Fulvio and Nereo is still all day at work between the rows. The vineyards are a small part around the cellar, the last enclave of the Collio; the body is rather more consistent in Corona, in the flood plain of the Isonzo, on gravelly soil very suited for components and physical-chemical soil for the cultivation of red grapes from Friuli. All the vineyards are from mass selection, and the land is constantly being worked on, are never used synthetic chemicals, is not used for irrigation, even in distress. With these choices "extreme" Bressan is capable of giving rise to a unique wine, surprisingly, representative of the area and of will of Fulvio, true architect of this wonderful reality and of its bottles."
