Domaine de la Madone

Owned and run by the extended Bererd family, the estate has mainly low-yielding Gamay vines, most of which are 80-100 years old. The domaine is located in Le Perreon, a superior, northern, hilly part of the Beaujolais region. This stacks up well against many Premier Cru Beaujolais and occasionally beats them in blind tastings! Made in the Burgundy style – no carbonic maceration!
