Domaine du Grand Tinel is quite petit and sits on one of the oldest sites in Châteauneuf which dates back to the 1700s. The Jeune and Establet families own 56 hectares of vines that are planted in a myriad of different soils and terroir including sand, rocks, stones, limestone, pebbles and clay. There are many old vines with the oldest Grenache vines being more than 100 years old, including some of the 4.5 hectares of vineyards in the famous lieu-dit of La Gardiole that are used to produce a truly excellent Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc.
