Domaine du Pegau
Since the 17th century, Domaine du Pegau has been recognized as one of the top estates in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The Feraud family of Domaine du Pegau are fervent proponents of traditional wine-making, wines that speak of Provence and Rhone. First known as Domaine Feraud, the name Pegau was created in 1987, when Laurence, after finishing her wine studies, returned home to help her father Paul Feraud at the domain.
Today Laurence is in charge. Pegau’s vineyards consist of 21 hectares among Chateauneuf’s best terroirs including La Crau, as well as 25 hectares of Cote du Rhone Villages, 5 hectares of Cote du Rhone and 19 hectares of Vin de Table. These wines truly deliver, showcasing the estate’s excellent terroir, with the unmistakable imprint of Domaine du Pegau.
