Description

The Morgado do Perdigão Alvarinho Loureiro 2022 was the first to combine these two grape varieties (Alvarinho and Loureiro) in the Minho region in 1996. The Alvarinho variety is produced at the Casa do Capitão-mor (Quinta da Boavista), in Mazedo, Monção . Its soil is of granitic origin, calc-alkaline, covered with rolled pebbles. The Loureiro variety is produced in Barcelos, in the sub-region of Cávado. The soils are of non-porphyroid granitic origin of medium grain, and rich in quartz. The production of grapes respects the environment, is certified as “Integrated Production”.

Full-bodied wine, lively, mineral and fruity (citrus).
