A visceral note runs through the wine, layered with warm smoke and manuka forest. Black plum, wild cherry and dried thyme emerge, wrapped in a lingering savoury perfume.

It’s dark, smouldering and long. A Pinot that feels subterranean—textural, mineral, and seductive in its restraint.

Match with charcoal-seared duck breast, wild mushrooms and a lick of blackcurrant jus. Or better yet, a slow-cooked modern hāngī—where earth, smoke and fire do the talking.
