A unique premium Shiraz, the St Henri is not made in new oak but the very oldest. The wooden vats used are large, so have less surface area and flavour effect. But they are also ancient, dating back to this legendary wine's first vintages in the 1950s. So the wine's deep smoky spice comes from the old vine Shiraz itself, which shines here as in no other. From the fruit too comes the pure, powerful flavour and tannin structure, which will sustain an incredible future in cellar.
