The perfect combination of two varieties of carefully selected grapes varieties which are Quebranta and Italia. Its scent is semi–aromatic with a hint of Muscat. On the palate, you will taste the strength of the Italia grape combined with the extreme roundness of the Quebranta grape. It is the perfect blend that allows us to highlight the qualities of each grape variety. This Pisco is the result of Pisco tradition and TABERNERO’s technology. 


MARIDAJE - MARRIAGE

As a cocktail, you can drink it as an aperitif. You can also pair it with spicy dishes like ají de gallina [spiced shredded chicken in sauce] or rocoto relleno [rocoto without veins stuffed with mince-meat with cheese, milk and potato] or desserts such as fig and apple tart. 

RECIPE

  • COCTEL DE ALGARROBINA RECIPE

    INGREDIENTS:
    • 1 ounce of Acholado TABERNERO Pisco
    • 2 ounces of evaporated milk
    • ½ ounce of sugar syrup
    • 1 egg yolk
    • A stream of algarrobina [syrup made from the Black Carob tree. It is popular in Peruvian cuisine and can be used in smoothies, cocktails, or simply in milk] (to taste)
    • Ice

     

    1 OUNCE = 29.5735 ml 

  • PREPARATION:

    Pour ingredients into a shaker and mix thoroughly. Then serve in a glass and garnish with ground cinnamon.
