Cadenhead
Established in 1842 by William Cadenhead, Cadenhead is Scotland's oldest independent bottler. Cadenhead's remained in the same family until in 1977 the company and its stock was purchased by J & A Mitchell and Co, the proprietors of the famous Springbank and Glengyle distilleries of Campbeltown. The Cadenhead range has a long standing reputation amongst fans of single cask bottlings, and these days the selection process is headed by Mark Watt who is well known and respected nose.
