"Cassagnes de La Nerthe are produced at Domaine de La Renjarde in Sérignan du Comtat north of Orange. Owned by the Richard family in the same way as the renowned Château La Nerthe in Châteauneuf du Pape, this estate is run with the same standards and quest for quality, certified in Organic Agriculture. This cuvée, made from sandy and limestone soils, is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. It exudes a ripe and fleshy fruit, notes of red fruits and sweet spices. A wine to be enjoyed from its youth."

Chateau la Nerthe

One of the oldest and largest estates of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Chateau la Nerthe has become one of the most sort after wines of the appellation. It’s an impressive visit to the cellars where top Michelin star restaurants have there own individual cellars, with wines being reserved every year.

Located in Serignan-du-Comtat, between Orange and Avignon, the 40+ year old vineyard combines all traditional grape varietals for the Southern Rhone Valley: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvédre, Carignan, and Cinsault. The vines are planted in soils deep in calcareous sandstones well sited on gently undulating slopes.
