"This gem has a wild nose filled with aromas of black and red cherries. As it warms up you start to get a few more of the dark fruit flavours from the Sangiovese base-wine. It is soft and full-bodied on the palate, sweet and very aromatic. Best matched with foods that are equally fruity."

--------THE PRODUCER--------

Corrado Tonelli

The Corrado Tonelli Farm was established in 1994, thanks to the wine culture that was handed down from father to son in the family. The most representative product of the company is Visner , a wine made from a second fermentation and flavored with wild sour cherry (Prunus Cerasus).

--------THE GRAPE--------

Sangiovese

Sangiovese is Italy's most important and widely planted grape varietal. Traditionally it is famous in all of the sub-regions of Tuscany particularly so in Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Sangiovese is planted in almost all of the regions across Italy where it makes everything from savoury and spicy reds to supple and black fruit bombs.

--------THE REGION--------

Marche

Marche is a region in central Italy on the eastern coast. It is largely home to reds made from Sangiovese and the medium-bodied white wines of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.
