The second wine of the property was established in 1985.
It comes from vines that average 30 years old today and are planted on gravelly soils for fine Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot for some clay.
It receives the same care as the Grand Vin, with a search for maturity and concentration in the vineyard, a plot vinification and aging adapted to its tannic structure.
The wine is characterized by round tannins, aromas of red and black fruits on his youth and still shows good potential.
--------THE PRODUCER--------

Chateau Lagrange

A unique site, an ancient viticultural vocation

A place of life and culture from the Gallo-Roman era: from the Gallo-Roman "VILLA RUSTICA" to the "GRANGIA" from the Middle Ages.

The Templars give Lagrange an early viticultural orientation: the noble house of Lagrange de Monteil and the tenement of Pellecalhus, the hospital and the chapel in the 13th century.

It is only from 1631 that we can reconstruct the history of the different owners.

--------THE GRAPE--------

Bordeaux Blend

This is a typical Bordeaux red wine blend with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
