It has been matured in a high proportion of first fill sherry casks for a minimum of 25 years producing a rounded and elegant dram.The aromas oozes tropical fruits (mango and pineapple) with a hint of cedar wood. Rich salted caramel is prominent on the palate with hints of violets and coriander. A long and decadent finish with more of that floral character and a slight citrus zest lingering. A dazzling new addition to the shelves from this iconic Speyside distillery.

Glenrothes Distillery

The Glenrothes [glen-rothis] distillery is situated in the quaint village of Rothes in the heart of Speyside. The Glenrothes style is soft and smooth with notes of caramel / toffee, spice, vanilla and delicate citrus apparent throughout their expressions. The new 'Soleo' range is matured entirely in Sherry seasoned oak casks. The collection takes its name from the traditional soleo sun-drying process which dries the grapes to aid the creation of the finest sherry.
