Current Stock:
Filled into a sherry butt in July 2008 and matured for 10 years, this new release from the Old Particular range is the perfect dram to warm up with on an Autumn evening. The nose as described by Fred Laing is fresh and full with syrupy fruit salad and cereal notes (barley), moving to spices and toffee on the palate. The sherry cask maturation shows through on the finish, with warm spices and sherry (dried fruit notes).

--------THE PRODUCER--------

Douglas Laing & Co.

Douglas Laing & Co. was established over 60 years ago in Glasgow by Fred Douglas Laing, who set out to select and bottle single malts, primarily from single casks procured from distilleries right around Scotland. Today the company is run by the founders namesake and son Fred Laing and his daughter Cara. Not much has changed for the company, the focus is still very much on releasing a select number of bottlings each year across their range of Old Particular and Executive Decision.
