Description
Distilled on the north edge of the Isle of Islay, this new two cask bottling from Signatory shows the smoky, sweet and citric profile of the Caol Ila distillery. The peat smoke of Caol Ila is often not as medicinal as others from the isle, offering a more approachable beachside bonfire smokyness, warm with peppery notes (white pepper) and fruity apple tones. Bottled at a natural strength of 55.9% after 12 years of maturation.
